Employer Protocol

The success of this site is dependent on members keeping status and profile information up to date and responding efficiently to alerts and messages. 

1. You must complete all required* fields on your profile to enable it to appear on the website.
2. Please keep your profile up to date at all times and if you have successfully recruited a PA, click your status to not looking. 
3. When we send you a message alert, we ask you to log on and respond within 3 days if possible.

PA Vetting

The PA's registered on the find-a-pa site are not employed by, and have not been vetted by Ruils or their partner organisations. It is the responsibility of you the employer to check whether a PA has the correct valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service - previously CRB) certificate and that you are happy with it's status. It is also your responsibility to ensure that references are obtained and checked and to satisfy yourself that the PA has the skills and suitability to undertake the role offered.

Employers have a legal obligation to check that the person they want to employ is legally entitled to work in the UK. Comprehensive advice and guidance on this is available from the home office website
